An Investigation of Flipping an English Reading Course: Focus on Reading Gains and Anxiety

The aim of this research was to explore the effect flipped classroom on English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners’ reading skill and anxiety. For purpose, sample 44 Iranian EFL learners recruited randomly assigned group (N =23) non-flipped =21). Using quasi-experimental design, researchers employed an experimental that received instruction control were instructed based regular method for period four months. component Cambridge Preliminary Test (CPET) scale anxiety given assess comprehension participants pre-test post-test study. outcomes indicated in class substantially performed better than those regarding gains. Also, flipping course significantly reduced participants. According these results, it may be concluded teachers can utilize their courses.
